Living the dream, I think as you get older you realise that when you were younger with no cares that was living the dream , when you get older you just try to tell yourself that having this or doing that is really going to make you happy but ultimately it doesn’t not long term anyway. Just concentrate on family and friends that is where living the dream really is I think. Keep up the good work, I think you are one of the most down to earth UA-camrs out there and I always enjoy watching your content ,( I have been subscribed since the early days ). Just keep doing what you do and don’t beat yourself up. 👍

Danny mate I haven’t read the comments. But for me I found you from your KA endurance race I search up something like British racing and you came up, after growing up on MCM autoalex and all the others. Your soul is in racing and you’re a great driver that’s funny likeable not up your own ass and has a great opinion on cars. I watch the majority but look forward to seeing a proper race. I watch the garage videos for the prep for the race. As a comparison, I’d compare you to OG Schafen and hoon garage but watch you actually compete for grip racing and proper driving. You are ‘living the dream’ of someone who cannot travel and race but you’re not living your dream. Don’t focus on what ‘we’ think focus on what you enjoy and the audience will enjoy it too. You’re a top man, don’t lose faith as I aspire to have a racing career like yours. It don’t matter if it’s a lambo an e46 or a ka the racing is done by the driver not the car. Bets of luck brother and if you want to race I’d be down :)

Hi Dan. Personally I’ve loved the Japan videos. It’s always been a dream of mine to do it so if I don’t get the chance at least I get to almost do it through your videos. So thank you. I think that you might be right with the UA-cam algorithm that people might not be seeing them rather than not watching. Even with the notifications on I’ve had to go searching your channel for them rather than getting notified. Going forward first and foremost you need to do what makes you feel good. As someone who battles my own mental health the biggest hurdle is pushing yourself to do the things you know you enjoy even though your mind is telling you it won’t. If you ever need it though reach out. I will happily give you my number and sit and chat all night than know you are struggling alone. Oh and absolutely. I think this years goal should be to drive the DC2. Even if a few of us have to get together and come and help you (and yes that is a genuine offer!). Stay safe mate. And remember a problem shared is not halved, it’s solved!

Good stuff, the circuit looks reet good, something about the extra sketch factor to keep you on the edge of your seat... or maybe in your case, sliding off the seat into the footwell. XD I get a bit frustrated with the lap timing rules at U.K circuits. I get why they do it, but we want to improve our driving and the only way to properly measure that improvement is with a timer (IMO) Anyway, keep up the videos mate, I can say with 100% certainly I have been watching all your Japan content and have enjoyed it all.

Did you match the new wheel bore with the hub using centric rings? Wheel load should be on the bore and hub, not the studs.
